The man behind the camera at Hot 'n' Tedious is Andrew. Before every shoot, our director Nick creates a shot list, which the two of them collaborate on to execute the perfect shot. Andrew films on a Sony a7 ii, and is not only passionate, but extremely knowledgable of all things camera.
In order to make the set and film visually appealing, Erica works tirelessly to design each set, collect and purchase all the set decor and props, then manage it all throughout the shoot. Erica has an eye for beauty and continuity, and helped create the scenes in Reception.
The typically overlooked position of lighting is a huge part of making Hot 'n' Tedious Films. Ricardo draws inspiration from PTA to create scenes and feelings using just lights. In each film, Ricardo makes a plan for every scene, and heavily collaborates with our technical crew.
The ears on set belong to Matthew Makowski. While recording, Matt live mixes our audio recording and manages all the mics, lavs, booms and cords. After recording, our audio team works on foley, re-recordings, stitching together clips, and mixing the entire film.
